About the event
ANGIE PALMER
THE LANCASHIRE SONGBIRD WITH A WANDERER'S SOUL
From the backstreets of Paris to the stages of Glastonbury — the extraordinary journey of one of Britain's finest and most individual singer-songwriters.
“One of Britain’s greatest singer-songwriters” — Bob Harris
“The British Lucinda Williams” — The Independent
Some musicians are made in recording studios. Others emerge from the carefully managed machinery of the music industry. And then there are those who learn their craft the hard way — playing for strangers, sleeping wherever the road takes them, carrying their entire musical world in a guitar case and discovering, night after night, what it really means to hold an audience.
